One very interesting discussion that came out of our discussion was on the importance of getting information connected to products. When we buy food, or medicine or consumer electronics, the more we understand how this works for us, the more value the object becomes. This, apparently, will be increasingly communicated through RFID (read the wikipedia if like me before my visit, you don't what this stands for: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rfid). This means that goods can be linked to information that can be retrieved from the web to understand how to use them. This seems to offer a great deal of opportunities in product development, packaging, and marketing.
If we link the information to a personal profile then the information can be adapted and personalised. Any ideas on how this could work today?
